We organize presentations and workshops for women so they can learn English, get basic information and learn different skills in order to earn a regular income and support their families. 

For this we need you volunteers! If you have skills like baking, decorating, cooking jams, sewing, creating hanging gardens, making natural cosmetics or anything that could be sold on the streets (to tourists or locals), you could help us a lot. We just need to see which materials are available in Tanzania.

Former volunteers taught the women how to bake international cakes. Maybe later we could make a service for parties where we cook, bake and decorate. Another idea we love is learning how to sew clothes and make reusable pads. However, so far only certain materials are approved to be used as reusable pads and we can’t get them in Tanzania.

Another ongoing project we are working on is sewing tote bags from colorful African cotton fabric. We have a sewing machine and buy the fabric at the market. We are in need of volunteers for this project, as we need you to sell the bags as a way of collecting money for our organization. So it would be great if you could continue this project as it is an important part of our fundraising.
